This phrase is oh so common when considering applying to Oxford; being the top University in the world the chances seem so slim...
But, and this is a big BUT, it's ONE choice out of FIVE on your UCAS form, so if you have good grades and think you'd love the Oxford experience then why not just have a go?
Prospective applicants often have a picture in their minds that the students who get in are superhuman figures and totally different to them. I was certain I wouldn't fit the 'Oxford Type', whatever that's supposed to be, but I didn't let it put me off because there's no harm in trying right?
You've literally got nothing to lose and you might even prove yourself wrong!
