Reunion weekends, access to journals, and career networking: lifelong benefits for Oxford Alumni

So you’ve spent three (or more!) years getting to know Oxford University: the quirky traditions, the strange vocabulary, and the college characters. Now it’s time to leave, but you’re not quite ready to say goodbye. That’s where we come in. The Oxford Alumni team are here to make sure that you stay connected to the University, and to each other, after you graduate.

How do we support alumni?

Careers support and networking opportunities

As an alum of Oxford University you can access career support at any stage of your career, through the Careers Service. They also host dedicated ‘Kickstart your career’ workshops for recent graduates.

We also have a social platform, the Oxford Alumni Community, with over 13,000 alumni registered. It’s a great place to look for career connections, job opportunities, and mentoring from within the alumni community, as well as sharing your own advice and experience to others.

Alumni events

Every year we host an Alumni Weekend in Oxford, giving you chance to come back to Oxford, reconnect with fellow Oxonians and to find out what the latest research is at the University.

Benefits and discounts

When you leave the University, you keep lots of the benefits of being a student, such as lifelong use of the Bodleian library and access to JSTOR. We’ve also partnered with lots of companies in Oxford and beyond to bring you exclusive discounts and offers, including Malmaison, the Economist, and the Department for Continuing Education.

Oxford Leavers’ Fair 2018

To unlock all of these benefits, you’ll need your Alumni Card. You can pick it up at our Leavers’ Fair 6-8 June in the Oxford Town Hall, plus get 1-2-1 careers advice from the Careers Service, make some final memories at our photo booth, and pick up your Oxford Leavers’ T-shirt.

We’ll also have stalls from Blackwells, the Oxford & Cambridge Club, the Oxford Foundry and more, and we’ll be there to answer any questions you have about your transition from student to alum.
