In the current climate it can be easy to focus on opportunities that have been temporarily suspended or things you wish you could do. This makes it even more important to focus on and seize the opportunities that are available to you.
What better way to do this than mooting in the highly prestigious, and first ever online, Oxford vs Cambridge Disability Mooting Championship (sponsored by Herbert Smith Freehills)! The Championship is the only moot run by the Faculty to focus solely upon legal issues affecting persons with a disability. This year the Grand Final involves Criminal Law, examining the incredibly important relationship between disability aids and bodily integrity.
Mooting is a great way to develop your skills of building legal arguments and is a hugely beneficial experience for anyone interested in a career at the Bar. If you’re interested in mooting and are passionate about the intellectual study of disability - this is the competition for you!
