For those of you starting Oxford this summer, you can look forward to be welcomed in a new college family. This time next year, you may well be celebrating the new father in your life - your college father!
Your college parents will usually write to you over the summer before you start Oxford and give you a little taste of what next term will have to offer. This is a great opportunity to talk to two students who have just gone through their first year and can share loads of tips with you.
This is your opportunity to ask all of those unanswered questions, so ask away!
You'll then usually meet your college parents in Freshers' Week, they'll host a meal where they can get to know you. It's lovely to know there are two experienced students looking out for you throughout your first year, so embrace your new family!
