Trinity term is here, and with it less rain, more sun and a plethora of activities at Wolfson College!
Wolfson College is a post-graduate college in North Oxford, situated right on the River Cherwell and surrounded by its own Nature Reserve. In the summer, it is very green and beautiful, full of wildlife and things to do!
Around Wolfson, there are lots of nice walks through the meadows. You can walk all the way along the river to University Parks, spotting punters and wildlife alike as you go!
There is also a punt and canoe harbour right in the college, for members to take out as they please. If you fancy a drink to cool off once back, why not nip into the lively college bar for a Wolf Howl beer or Spirit Wolf gin?
Saturdays in college are for brunch, a buffet served from 9:30-11:30. With delicious savoury, sweet and vegan options, there’s something for everyone. Wolfson also has its own large BBQ pit, for those warm summer evenings.
In Wolfson there are also tennis courts, squash courts, a croquet pitch and a gym for those of us into sports; and plenty of outside lawns to lounge on for those of us who prefer sunbathing and/or reading.
It is truly a special college in the summer, surrounded by beauty and nature with tonnes of fun activities as well!
