GCSEs can feel like an absolute nightmare - having to navigate so many different subjects can get super stressful.
Today hopefully most of you can say goodbye to those subjects you hated and from now on, focus on the ones you love!
I was so excited to just focus my energies on English, History, Politics and Spanish and say goodbye to MATHS, in particular...
Whatever you saw when you opened your results today, if you know you tried your best and put in the effort then you should be extremely proud.
If you didn't get the results you hoped for, then remember you've still got A Levels to come where you can just immerse yourself in a few subjects. There are so many opportunities to work on your grades and to decide what your future holds. So, don't give up!
If you got good grades today and have a little voice in the back of your head saying 'Oxford' then don't ignore it, act on it! It's definitely not too early to start preparing; keep following the blog for tips on what you can do over the next few years to have the best chance of being offered a place.
Congratulations on all of your hard work, GCSEs are tough - so many subjects to spread yourself across, I'm proud of each and every one of you!
