We are now a team of 100 strong Oxford women and I LOVE getting the opportunity to meet some of student ambassadors at our meetings!
This term we were hosted by OXO Bar, a stunning cocktail bar on George Street. We sipped on a tasty array of cocktails whilst discussing all things access. Opening those doors to Oxford Uni, whilst having lots of fun along the way, what could be better?
OXO Bar were the ultimate hosts; the candlelit rooms, swanky cocktails and welcoming staff made it a really special evening. Plus they do £2.95 cocktails for students ALL NIGHT Sun - Thurs, what an offer!
As I looked across the room and tried to get the ambassadors' attention, I thought back to day one when I was desperately trying to get them to chat and avoid those awkward silences but now I can't raise my voice above the noise of laughter and non-stop chatter! One of the loveliest thing for me has been to see how much the team has bonded and how it has been an opportunity to meet other students outside of college. Lots of the team told me how they now meet up outside of TOG events and it made me so happy!
At this meeting we planned blog posts, played a silly game of 'Who can draw the best college Crest' (cue lots of people having no idea what their college crest looks like) and we also made #FeatureFriday entries for Instagram.
We were lucky enough to be sponsored by some amazing Oxford brands this term who collaborated with our Student Ambassador Reward Scheme.

@jerichocoffeetraders - they have a lovely café on the High Street and a roastery in Osney Mead where you can sign up to coffee brewing experiences. Plus they do a brilliant coffee subscription to keep you going on those all-nighter essay crises! They kindly gifted bags of their delicious coffee to the team (including some v fun limited edition Valentine's brews!)
@loccitane_uk_ire - they shared a range of their gorgeous bath and shower products which we cannot wait to try. They have a shop at the entrance to the Westgate centre, ideal for gifts.
@_hillyjo_ - a beautiful Oxford independent lifestyle brand who shared her lovely socks!
@handlebaroxford - Oxford's cutest bicycle café is a regular haunt for students and we were so excited that they shared hot drink vouchers with the team. We can guarantee they'll be cosying up all winter long!

We ended the meeting with a fun raffle, including #gifted experiences from:
@brasserieblancoxford - two of the team will be enjoying a truly delicious dining experience at this gorgeous French brasserie!
@phorestaurant - a supporter of TOG since the start and two ambassadors will be heading in for a heart-warming Pho! Affordable and healthy, Pho is the dream!
