The Oxford college chapels offer fantastic opportunities for the musically talented, particularly those who are accepted for an Organ Scholarship.
These are gifted organ students who wish to develop their skills during their time at University. Their role within the chapel varies from college to college but duties can involve directing and assisting the choir, directing chapel music and assisting professional directors.
The musical environment in the Oxford college chapels continues to thrive and many Oxford organ scholars have gone on to become celebrated musicians, whilst others have taken different routes, namely becoming a Prime Minister and a Hollywood actor!

Prospective students can audition for organ awards in September before following the UCAS application by 6pm UK time on 15 October.
